Lower Sioux Nation announces expansion to Jackpot

Today I learned that Jackpot Junction will be expanding.  That is wonderful news for the many people who have been turned away because of the lack of lodging in the Redwood Falls, Minnesota area. The Lower Sioux community located in Morton, Minnesota announced a ground breaking for a 25 million dollar project in a news release.  A 86 thousand square feet addition will replace the current Dakotah Exposition Dome.  Shannon Blue is the current Tribal Chairman for the community.  The hotel connected to the casino will soon have pool side rooms.  Miller architects and builders have been awarded the contract.  It is great to see new advancements to Native American communities.
