Wacipi engages the crowd

The sounds of drums and Native Tunez drummers and singers could be heard throughout the arena.  The tiny tots and jingle dresses were in the arena while American Indian veterans from the Yankton Sioux tribe looked on.  Indian Tacos that were the size of your face sold for $10.  This was near Marty, S. D. the home of the Yankton Sioux Nation.  The Tribe received its land back in 1962 from the U. S. Air Force.  The people on the Pow Wow Committee were sitting on the hill overlooking the red arena draped with Willow Tree branches. The pictures of the flag and the Native Tunez drummers will soon follow.
