Although I wrote how much I wanted to embrace my children’s days as babies, however honest, but shallow, I can’t wait until they outgrow certain habits and ways of the early stages of their lives.
As my children get older, I’ll be relieved to let go of these things:
1. Changing diapers
2. Buying diapers
3. Buying formula
4. Washing baby bottles, nipples, Sippy cups and lids
5. Matching and sorting baby socks
6. Stains from boogers, saliva, baby food, milk, and juice on my clothing, in particular, on the left shoulder area of all my shirts
7. Rinsing empty baby food jars for recycling
8. Baby changing stations in public bathrooms
9. Diaper bags
10. Getting sprayed with baby food that comes from Edward’s mouth after he decides he’s finished eating
