Is celebrating the United States of America's independance from Great Britain even possible for an Indigenous inhabitant of North America to partake in without being completely "lost"?

The 4th of July or Independence day was, is, and will forever be just another day for me. I like the day off from work and or classes and it is a time that many Indigenous peoples in the United States use as a way to unite with their families and tribes and that is the one decent fact about this patriotic holiday.

Everybody has an opinion on abortion, opinions that aren't very likely to be swayed and are fiercly defended.  This contested issue turns all legislation that it touches into a hot potato, and the subject of the legislation into a warzone.
